JLCPCB ORDER RECIPE — solar-battery-charger-module 1.0.4
PCB FILE
fabrication/solar-battery-charger-gerbers.zip
PCB OPTIONS
Layers: 2
Material: FR-4
Dimensions: 66.12 x 57.00 mm
Thickness: 1.2 mm
Copper weight: 1 oz ONLY
Solder mask: Black
Silkscreen: White
Surface finish: ENIG
Via hole option: 0.15 mm minimum
Via-in-pad: Epoxy filled and capped (copper paste filled/capped is acceptable)
Plated edges: Yes
Electrical test: 100% flying probe
V-scoring: No
Engineering review: Yes
PCB ORDER REMARK
Preserve the supplied Edge_Cuts outline. Eight intentional exposed top/bottom
copper contacts meet the routed left/right edges around semicircular openings.
Plate these contact-bearing edges and finish them with ENIG. Use filled-and-
capped 0.15/0.35 mm via-in-pad. Do not pull copper back from the eight edge
contacts. Stop for clarification rather than modifying the outline or contacts.
ASSEMBLY FILES
BOM: fabrication/solar-battery-charger-assembly-bom.csv
CPL/PnP: fabrication/solar-battery-charger-pick-and-place.csv
Side: Top
Purchased parts: 60 placements / 34 unique LCSC codes
Process: SMT plus THT/manual soldering for J_SOLAR
PARTS-CONFIRMATION GATE
Confirm every BOM row resolves to its exact LCSC Part # and footprint.
Reject silent substitutions for U_CHG, U_GAUGE, U_3V3, Q12, L_CHG, L_3V3,
R_CHG_SENSE, R_GAUGE_SENSE, J_SOLAR, and J_BAT.
J_CTRL and J_IO are board copper and must not appear as assembly parts.
OPERATING REQUIREMENTS
Use a protected 1S Li-ion pack with a 10k 103AT-compatible NTC.
Use a 21V-class panel with Vmp near 17.8V and worst-case cold Voc below the
BQ24650 limit. Current-limit first power-up and qualify a first article before
unattended charging or volume manufacture.
DO NOT
Do not select 2 oz copper: JLCPCB's 2-layer 2 oz minimum is 0.16/0.16 mm,
while this release intentionally targets the 1 oz 0.10/0.10 mm process.
Do not replace the routed outline with a rectangle.
Do not leave via-in-pad open or merely soldermask-tented.
